    Happy New Year to everyone out there!

    2008 has been a gd year for me.
    I heard darling saying that I've changed for the better.
    Maybe its NS, maybe its love, either way, it has changed my life.

    Over the year, I picked up various things at diff point of time...

    In January, I learn that armchair critics exist around us.
    Ever-ready to snipe down every little thing that they dun seem fit.
    But I've learned that they are not worth my time and I should be proud of what I do.

    In February, it hit me that its not the gift that matters, its the effort of preparing something.
    Hand-made gifts for my darling speaks more than anything else.

    In March, I made new friends, grew a little bit older and wiser, somehow.

    In April, I experienced the joy of indulging in my hobbies.
    Got all the time in the world to pursue my interests...

    In May, I got a letter that i was accepted in NTU.
    On that same day, i got my enlistment letter.
    Life plays tricks on us sometimes...

    In June, I came to know that my temper gets the best of me.
    Bastard as i was, i gave up the most important thing in my life to another bastard...
    I was foolish, I was dumb...

    In July, I tried leading a team.
    It ain't easy, but i merely pulled it thru...

    In August, I learned that life is playing tricks on me again.
    I got back the things that belonged to me,
    I also lost things that were not mine to begin with.

    In September, I enjoyed myself to the max.
    With my family, friends and loved ones around me, sadness nv came.

    In October, I started to become a man.
    "Its not what you leave behind, its what you gain in the days ahead"
    Thats what they say.
    But I'm glad to say that i didn't leave anything behind
    and i gained the most.

    In November, time stopped for me and I was brought into an unfamiliar world.
    Things were taken from me, even dignity and morale, all gone.
    But in return, I gained a new mindset.
    "One man's rubbish is another man's treasure..."
    Depends on how you see it, this phrase suits the most...

    In December, I moved into a new vocation and got vacations.
    I met my old frens and new frens.
    Feels great to be back for some time.
    Feels great to spend the new yr with my darling and my best buddies.

    Well that's it for 2008.
    I'm expecting my raining to start in January
    Looking forward to 260209...
    One yr closer to 080810...

    Gonna go off in less than an hr's time.

    I gotta say I've been kinda emo-ish ever since I've enlisted.

    Every time i think of booking in, just brings my spirits down, dun wanna go out and stuffs...

    Thankfully my darling understands and doesn't complain.

    I'm trying to be positive now, thinking of next wk's extra leave
    plus seeing my darling for another extended weekend b4 my Instructor course starts.
    Not only that, I'm trying to keep myself active after office hrs...

    My stay-in days are coming again and i hope time pass faster as i go thru the course
    becoz after that, its a better life for me...

    Need to think positive more often...


    20th Dec

    Its my 4th yr anniversary with darling...
    Having no plans for that day (wriggle eyebrowns) and blindly headed over to Takashimaya to look for some Christmas gifts...

    Then a chance came abt where i could slip away for a moment to collect a bouquet of roses i ordered a few days ago...

    We had lunch at Sakae Teppanyaki at Cineleisure b4 catching Bolt the movie.

    Then gotta head home b4 the guests reach for Dad's annual Christmas Party for his frens and some relatives...

    28 Dec...

    My time here is mostly spent in the kitchen actually lol...
    Of course i got to catch up with my secondary skool buddies thru pool sessions.
    Its great to hear them coping well with NS.

    Now its time to think abt myself le, coz i need to book in later...

    I condemn myself for not bringing a cam to EOY and had to rely on HiroMiki's cam...
    so here goes...

    EOY DAMN FUN!!!!!!!
    i started work on yuki's suit on thursday and completed it only on Saturday morning...

    Pinocchio and yuki came over in the morning to collect their costumes and went downstairs.
    Karen was nice to give us a lift there...

    Yuki attracted so much attention that we blocked the entrance to the event...

    Here's xTsuki's first crossdress project as Yuki Nagato, God Knows style...


    We met knife and lockie when we reached the event first...
    I knew they were doing the Mario Brothers but damn they did it well enuff for me to say amazing... sometimes the best cosplays are simple ones


    We also found Cutepetz as an RO High Priest Female


    Then there was the rest of her RO team which includes Broken, Reinheart and kazuki...


    Here's tohru as Ciel. Some bloggers mistake her for a goth loli. LOL-ed my head off


    Then there were gd cosplayers this year which i dun know yet...

    Like KYQ as Kiva, fangirl mode on for me when i saw it...


    There's the Hoi Hoi san project... 3000 hrs of work, worth $1500 or more, Hoi Hoi san's weapon can be stripped, assembled and EOY will be her last event... T-T

    I was surfing the net this morning and wanted to look for a specific papercraft model for a friend.
    Suddenly got more into looking for more papercraft models...

    Then i saw my King Form helm staring back at me...

    I suddenly missed my prop making days...
    Its hard work coming out with materials and plans,
    but the finished product is always satisfactory...

    Oh well, my block leave will be ard for me to build as many as i like, xD
