    I was with MAFIAs last night and lc said Siyi asked a math qn. i'll let u try it.

    3 Frens come to a hotel and wanted a room for one night. Its $30 for just one night, so they shared the cost, $10 from each fren.

    $30/3 = $10

    Then the boss decided to return them $5 and ask a bell boy to give it to them. The bell boy was thinking that $5 could not be divided evenly among the frens, so he decides to use $2 on ice-cream.

    $5-$2 = $3

    With the remaining $3 he return $1 to each fren.

    $3/3 = $1

    Hence the following equation will deduce how much eac fren actually paid.

    $10 - $ 1 = $9

    Lets add up everything.

    $9 x 3 = $27
    $27 + $2 = $29
    $30 - $29 = $1

    Where did the extra $1 go?
    Carry on reading for a solution.







    Ok so i took a look at the thing and lets phrase it in another way so the equation is correct.

    $30 - $5 = $25
    $25/3 = $8 + $1/3

    Each fren will just have to pay $8 and $1/3 after the discount.
    Adding $1 to the amount.

    $8 + $1/3 + $1 = $9 + $1/3

    Solve the equation.

    ($9 + $1/3) x 3 = $28

    Adding the ice-cream money for the bell boy.

    $28 + $2 = $30

    Get it? Haha... Takes some time

    P.S. Madeleine mei mei, I love your Baby Milo Camo Jacket a lot, I wear it everyday in the office. But this is a collector's item. I've only seen this once on Animal Planet's documentory on old movies based on creatures, mainly Godzilla.

    Ok ok how about an intro first? Godzilla is one of the defining aspects of Japanese popular culture for many people worldwide. Though his popularity has waned slightly over the years, he is still one of the most renowned monster characters in the world.

    This is his final movie poster. His stories started from 1954 and is famous for his radioactive breathe, great strength and durability and destructive force. Also changed from a villian to a hero makes him sort of an idol for children.

    On Saturday Janice and I and my family are invited to one of my cousin's 21st birthday celebration. itt's not the actual day but an early one. I tot they might wanna party elsewhere on the day itself rather than in their own house. Well my Aunty's house is big to start with le so they had buffet for around 60 fellas including some other aunties and uncles. Usually just meet them for these celebrations or during CNY nia. And who's the b'dae gal? Li Jun, second daughter of aunty Mei Ying. She got 4 children in total. And I heard that she is having her graduation from TP in May 2007. Congrats on that too. On the day itself she invited a lot of frens and family members. As usual my dad is volunteered camera man, tgt wif another fren of Li Jun. Lol on the day she so busy hopping around attending to different grps of frens, onli to take a breather when the whole party ends. Then it was a short trip home on the back of a Lorry with Janice, Dad&Mum are in the front with my uncle. We were laughing at how cool it was to sit at the back of a lorry when we were a bit younger.

    Hi all. Office Boi come home liao. Today was the 2nd day of my attachment. Would hav written this entry ytd, but got bored at the office and the side effects made me tired at night too. I even gave up my anime. Feels like depression 2nd time.

    Today was SO SO SO much better than ytd. At least our Project Manager(PM) gave us work. I've nv been so thankful abt having work to do. In short, ytd seems like a week, today seems like a blink of an eye. We started in the morning by looking at some docs and soing some editing on the desktops. I tink mine is easier compared to the gals de becoz it was mostly updated, just some minor errors ard.

    Today is a first gd day at the office hope this will carry on till the end of my IP...

    Feels like so long nv blog like tat.Ytd i was out with Madeleine and Janice so that the girls can do some shopping. I'll just carry the bags. But they were nice not to bully me. The day started out quite late at 1.30pm when we met Madeleine on the 162. Then we landed at JLS to hav lunch. i still like the clam chowder. Then they shopped ard Lv1 of Far East Plaza as Madeleine wanted to get new shoes. What did i do? Stood a side and played Dragon Ball Z on the PSP lol...

    Then we ended up at Haru where Janice bought a Lucky Bag and got ard $90 worth of Lolita things for just $50. Then at Anthena, the boss rmb me, the famous fella looking for creepers at their shop. Then Janice bought a panda jacket from there with sleeve-lets de. So kawaii...


    Then when it was a bit the my turn to look for things, its Bathing Mania. Saw a Fape Jacket for $110, quite nice la. I tink Bugis street or Bugis Icon have better choices. Then see th $399 shoes at LeftFoot. I starting to dun like the staff at the Far East brunch le. I see shoes they give me a feeling like they look down on my financial abilities. At least until Janice said "All these shoes to u all also so 'shou'(chinese for familiar) you still got anything else to buy meh?" Lol. Laugh my head off.


    Then it's to Galare for ice cream waffles. Then Madeleine had to 'go toilet'. In the end is to go Anthena to buy a nice Lolita tie for Janice to thx her for keep bringing her out to 'see the world'. I was part of the distraction plan.


    Everyone waiting to eat. I was still on the PSPOur ice cream waffle. Mocha chips and Cookies & Cream.

    The next part of the blog is a short farewell to the new me... T_T

    Why? Becoz tml start attachment le. Kenna complain the fringe too long gotta spike it up. And gonna be formal for the next 4mths. Mafias, if i no more hip-hop or even gothic again must save me. Haizzz. Feel so sian gonna be the old 'me' again. Specs, shirt, maybe tie, BLACK SHOES omg... gonna faint soon... I miss myself... its bb for gothic boi for now. Maybe gothic boi just come out when the full moon is out or sth...

    My B'dae celebration is over for tis yr le... So my 19 yr old starts... Wanna thx all the ppl who rmb, whether you came or nt, doesn't matter, you guys rock on. So what happens is in the morning ard 10+am Janice came over to pass me a greeting card, then off we go. First is to Mac for breakfast then slack ard Bugis and after a lot of confusion , finally Weeliang and JunHao. Lol LAN-ed at Virtueland and Ailing and JiaChuan came. Then its an early dinner at Sakae Sushi.

    After dinner, they got the cake from BreadTalk and even sent it down the sushi roulette. So cool man!! Yes, I'm surprised... :P

Too bad she didn't want it. Next is my childhood brother SHINN!!! FINALLY got to go out wif him lol. And of course didn't leave out the b'dae gal, Madeleine!!! So surprise to found someone the same b'dae 2 or 3 yrs ago.

So sweet. After walking some rds, we tot why not head down to Dohbi Xchange Sumairu to see how's the store like. And Shinn showed me his dream guitar and his fren from Kmage. Walking ard for a while more, dinner ROUND 2 at Swensens.This was candid by Janice, we look super funny. Shinn had the breaded Chix, Madeleine had the Fish & Chips(sponsored by Yun Xie... Say ty for her), janice had some sambal fish and i had half roasted chix. Then its ice-cream time. Complimentry Firehouse Happy Birthday for Madeleine and me! ... ... ... ... ...
